MY "TOP FIVE"
The owner of e33 hull #3, Sergio Vinelli, works in New York City and weekends and sails out of Jamestown, Rhode Island. He daysails with his wife, family and friends, and on his own whenever he can. Here are some of his best moments aboard his e33 Scout.
1. When we first hosted four friends for an afternoon sail and realized just how comfortable she is. I’ve never owned a boat where everyone aboard is just as comfortable and relaxed as me (the skipper). There’s no bumping elbows and knees in this cockpit.
2. Catching the eye of sailors passing by – everyone looks at the new square mainsail, and notices her elegant lines. She’s completely at home in Newport.
3. Local fun races like the Conanicut Yacht Club Around-The-Island Race, where Scout has really performed.
4. This summer’s Newport Bucket Regatta, sailing in a 15-20 knots breeze next to these gorgeous Superyachts with my sister relaxing in the aftdeck.
5. Going out solo, on a beautiful afternoon, and passing three hours in the blink of an eye. Sailing Scout is my time away from the world. |

If you live near one of these areas (or travel plans are taking you there) contact us to arrange a test sail today.
