New e33's
e Sailing Yachts is thrilled to have e33 hull #24, Gregale, be the first e33 to grace South American waters! Gregale made her first splash of the coast of Brazil in early January 2012. Her owner keeps the boat in the Marina da Glória and enjoys sailing her in and around Rio de Janeiro.
Many of you visited with us at the Newport Boat show last fall aboard the brand new e33 #25, Ephipany, where this gorgeous grey hulled e33 squared edition drew quite a crowd. Ephipany is kept in Jamestown, RI along with e33 hull #3, Scout.
e33 hull #26, Meteor, was very recently completed at Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding in Thomaston, ME. She was delivered just in time for her proud new owners to enjoy a full season of summer sailing this year. Meteor is kept in Cataumet, MA on Buzzard’s Bay.

The “Most Fun” Boat
Here’s an excerpt from an email we recently received from owner Rick Skinner, owner of hull #12 SkeDaddle kept in Mobile Bay, Alabama. Rick enjoys lots of family time as well as his yacht club fun races on his e33.
“...my daughter came to town with her three kids and we all went out Monday afternoon. It was blowing 13-16 knots so I decided to just beam reach with the jib. It was perfect. We sailed 6.8 to 7.2 knots out and back with the boat hardly heeling. My wife and daughter were lying down in the aftdeck with all three kids sandwiched between them...heads aft and feet forward. To add icing to the cake we passed a little pocket cruiser handily!
Then last Sunday I sailed the yacht club fun race in an 11-15 knot breeze with a friend who had sailed only one time before, along with his 8-yr-old son, and we whupped them! The closet boat was nearly a minute behind.
This is the most fun boat I can imagine for daysailing and racing. Jeremy and Robbie did such a great job with its design. Many people continue to give me compliments on her lines and sailing ability.”
Thanks Rick! |
