Fit 'n' FinishTo the left are photos of hull number 5. A few of the options on this boat include: cockpit cushions, teak cockpit sole and step, tiller pilot, teak interior hull finish, berth cushions, teak interior window treatment, and teak cabin trunk drip rail. We will have an interview with the owner of hull number 5 in the August newsletter. "Built to Order"
e sailing yachts, July 2007 One of the greatest things about building boats "built to order," is that you have the opportunity to fulfill someone's dream - possibly, one that they may have carried since youth, a dream they may have systematically reviewed in their head over time. The second greatest thing is sailing with them after they receive their boat and feeling that you have fulfilled that dream, seeing their face light up with pride of ownership and satisfaction. Our future in this industry depends 100% upon the satisfaction of our customers. We feel fortunate to have been able to build an e33 for each one of them. e sailing yachts has reached a milestone in production with the builder of the e33, Waterline Systems Inc. We believe that they are the best builder because they are committed to our dream of building a better boat and they have delivered. The e33 is built on the same production line as the Farr 40 with Waterline's attention to detail and dedication to finish, which is second to none. All e33's delivered to customers are initially sailed with an e33 representative onboard. For us, that is the most important step, "everything must be as it should be." The boat is only "finished" when the customer says, "thank you." We receive many questions
about the e33. One of the most common questions we encounter is, " How easy
is the e33 to sail and how stable is the boat in 20 knots of breeze?" Click here read designer notes We receive questions about our inventory. We do not have an inventory of boats; each boat is built on a "build to order basis," specific to the owners preferences and selected options. If you are ordering a boat for Spring delivery, you will need to place your order very soon. Production scheduling is on a first-come, first-served basis. Many
of our customers have arrived at a point in their lives where finding a crew and
boat maintenance are no longer on their priority list. Spending as much time on
the water with their wife and children has become the goal - the stuff memories
are made of! As a customer said to me on the 4th of July, "...life is just
to short to not be experiencing something like this with my family." Click here to go to see Kip's
boat We also receive many inquiries about boats
built for single-handed sailing, not necessarily to sail alone, but to make it
easier for their passengers to enjoy the boat and overall sailing experience.
Why do people want the boat set up for single-handed sailing? One customer's answer
is, "For daysailing! I wanted a boat that would perform well single-handed
as well as with 9 people in the cockpit. We also look forward to mixing in a few
races each season." Click here to read more We get quite a few e-mails about the price and, "where can I see one?" We have people test-sailing the e33, almost on a daily basis, in Marblehead, MA. If you are planning to be in the New York City area, call us. We may be able to set up a sail for you. If you are located on the West coast and can travel to Blaine, WA, we would love to show you an e33! We designed the e33 customer experience with the ultimate goal of exceeding your expectations. Keith, that's me, will guide you through each step of the ordering process so that you know all of your options. Jeremy Wurmfeld, the designer of the e33, will be on hand to manage the building process, ensuring that your vision is consistent with the builder's instructions. When your boat is delivered, one of us will sail the boat with you to ensure your complete satisfaction. Schedule a sail on an e33 or call |
